"Revist ' ó Fado na Tasca do Ti Carlos" at the Festivals of São Pantaleão 2020

The traditional Festivities of the São Pantaleão Fair of Figueiró dos Vinhos will, this year, have a double dose of Teatro de Revista.  

The current situation, caused by the disease COVID-19, led to the change of some territorial and daily habits, reason why, the fair of medieval roots, that will run from July 26th to 28th, will have two sessions of the same magazine show, with reduction the number of seats available per show. Thus, the City Council chose to present the public with an extraordinary session of this year's Magazine Theater , in order to avoid overcrowding the space and allowing everyone to enjoy this event, with the maximum possible security , in strict compliance d the hygiene rules in force, recommended by the General Directorate of Health and the Portuguese Government, namely social distance.


The Amphitheater of the Municipal Library will thus be , on the nights of July 26th and 27th , at 9:30 pm , the stage for the two sessions of "Revist'ó Fado na Tasca do Ti Carlos", a show that promises to embrace fado with the humor characteristic of the portuguese teather , interspersed by the voice of one of the great names of fado, António Pinto Basto , who together with the actors Paulo Oliveira, Suzana Lacerda, Luís Viegas and Filipa Giovanni, will put the audience singing for 120m. The event , whose tickets will be on sale at the Tourism Office, starting on July 13, is part of the project “Leiria Region - Cultural Network”, promoted by CIMRL - ​​Intermunicipal Community of the Leiria Region, co-financed by the EU through CENTRO 2020 under Axis 7 “Affirming the Sustainability of Territories” (CONSERVAR).


The Festivals of the São Pantaleão 2020 Fair will be filled with Fado and marketers from all over the country, which will make their articles available in the area surrounding the Municipal Market , this year, with the added hygiene and safety measures , but necessary, so that everyone to fully enjoy a festivity so characteristic of our county.
