The Colloquium of Young Researchers “European Cultural Heritage on Rede Cultura 2027", was part of the Congress “The Future of Our City” and had 3 sessions, on the 6th, 8th and 10th of October 2020, in Leiria, Tomar and Batalha.
It was carried out with the support of the Polytechnic Institutes of Leiria and Tomar, the Batalha Monastery and the Leiria Museum.
Coordinated by Francisco Teles da Gama, Master in Medieval History, its main objective is to assume itself as a place of visibility and valorization of a new generation of researchers in the territory of Rede Cultura 2027. From the submitted papers, 9 works were selected by Ana Raquel Machado, António Martins Costa, Bernardo Neves Garcia, Opeyemi Lateef Adewumi, Rodrigo de Melo Santos, Sara Garcês, Susana Madeira, Tiago Almeida Matias and Vanda Lopes da Costa.
The works presented are the result of investigations of places and monuments in the region, such as the beaches of Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto; the Anta do Vale da Laje, in Tomar; the Bordallo Pinheiro Factory, in Caldas da Rainha; the Parish Church of Arruda dos Vinhos; the Castle of Leiria and the Religious Heritage of Peniche.
