Sinopse

Bem vindos à miríade de mundos de sonho, pesadelo e pura fantasia que por bem ou por mal coexistem no meu ser. Aqui podem esperar observar e sentir os meus problemas representados nas inúmeras criaturas e suas histórias, encriptados em mundos sem razão ou pudor, mundos de insanidade e surrealismo onde só não acontece o possível porque o impossível assim o dita. Nunca deixando o nosso mundo a história das coisas fascina e desperta em mim algo que espero nunca entender… O soalho de um prédio, um quadro de cortiça, uma moldura vazia, quanto não têm presentes dos anos estes objetos? Por isso a maioria da pintura, desenho, escultura, gravura e pirogravura que crio tem como base história. No lixo, em casas ao abandono, nos cantos escuros, nas vastas ruas de Lisboa e na feira da ladra a base do meu trabalho vive, aguardando uma vida nova nestes mundos agora meus e com sorte um dia nossos. Com estas janelas para os meus mundos de problemas personificados convido-vos a olhar para eles e descobrir como personificar os vossos, a fim de os compreenderem e ultrapassarem da melhor forma.

Welcome to the myriad of dream worlds, nightmare and pure fantasy that for good or ill exist in my being. Here you can expect to observe and feel my troubles represented in the countless creatures and their stories, encrypted into worlds without reason or shame, worlds of insanity and surrealism where the impossible does not happen only because the impossible dictates it. Never leaving our world the history of things fascinates and awakens in me something that I hope I never understand… The floor of a building, a corkboard, an empty frame, how many gifts do these objects have from the years? That is why most of the painting, drawing, sculpture, engraving and pyrography that I create is based on history. In the rubbish, abandoned houses, dark corners, the wide streets of Lisbon and the flea market the basis of my work lives, waiting for a new life in these worlds now mine and with luck one day ours. With these windows to my worlds of embodied problems I invite you to look at them and find out how to impersonate yours in order to understand and overcome them in the best way.
